We have a stunning apartment located in Las Acacias, second line beach at Torrenueva Playa. This is in an ideal location as it is only 2 minutes walk to local transport bus route 220 fuengirola-marbella route as well as a taxi rank at Torrenueva. The beach is only 5 minutes walk and accessed by walking under the main road (walk way) directly to the beach.

The village of La Cala de Mijas can be accessed either by walking along the beach or by walking along a side road taking you directly into the village. On wednesdays and Saturdays there is a local market selling daily produce.

This is a small block of 6 apartments located directly behind El Bombo Chiringuito and Beach. This is a popular beach as it has a blue flag. This means it is one of the best beaches with facilities that suit the needs of all tourists.

La Niña Apartment is a ground floor garden Apartment. This is a little more basic than other properties and needs a little TLC although it is a rentable property and ideal if you are looking for a beach holiday.

The Apartments have a high repeat clientele, therefore these apartments are popular with visitors to the Costa del Sol. There are two apartments available for Holiday Rental only.

The Penthouse Apartment is a popular choice especially for couple. It is the ideal location for that romantic get away or honeymoon. If you are looking to celebrate your birthday anniversary or you just want some time out then look no further.

We have had a selection of celebrity clients staying at this location as it has its own energy of exclusivity.
The Penthouse apartment comprises of two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite), open plan kitchen and living/dining room, partial glassed terrace/open terrace airconditioning/heating throughout, The sea and beach can be enjoyed from each window as all face south.




The Penthouse Apartment has a large terrace comprising of outside dining for 4 persons as well as 4 sunbeds and the luxurious attraction of a Jacuzzi.

The First floor Apartment

This apartment is slightly smaller and does not have the exclusive use of the jacuzzi. There is an option of renting the two properties together (group of friends/family/business) and then we are flexible with the rental price for two units. If both units are rented by the same client then the first floor has the use of the Jacuzzi.

The first floor apartment comprises of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one ensuite, open plan kitchen, glassed curtain south facing terrace. Additional to this there is a corner terrace with a gas BBQ and seating for 4 persons. If there is no-one staying in the Penthouse apartment while the first floor is rented there is a supplement fee for the use of the Jacuzzi.

Four Front line beach Apartments located at the popular community of Mi Capricho at Mi Capricho Playa in Calahonda. This is located on Mijas Costa on the Costa del Sol.

Spring and Autumn is ideal for couples and older people. The community caters for the disabled and elderly as there are elevators from the Underground parking and to the apartments.

This is a stunning community ideal for all the family. During the Summer months there is a Kids Club that is organized by the administration of the Community. There is also a pool bar and cafe located adjacent to the infinity pool. Life guards are also present.

We have special winter rates for those people who wish to escape the cold and stay up to 3 months to enjoy the winter sun that southern spain offers.

The community has 24 hour security, gated complex with underground and community parking as well as a reception area. Relax and admire the communal tropical gardens. There is also direct access to the beach leading to a beach Restaurant " Chiringuito Mi Capricho" and sun beds.

We are also able to take bookings for larger groups such as Golf Trips, Weddings Birthdays and Anniversaries as well as Groups, clubs and associations. Ask about discounts when booking for more than one property.


Mi Capricho offers Summer sun and fun for all the family while on holiday. You can either sit back and relax and soak up the warmth and the light of the sun each day, or sit at the pool bar and Cafe and meet new and interesting people. You can use the sunbeds around the pool area or walk through the tropical gardens to the beach to the Chiringuito (beach Bar) and relax as you listen to the waves caressing the shoreline. Enjoy great food, and fresh fish and produce daily. Take a walk along the sandy beach towards Cabopino Puerto Marina (20 minute walk) and take a dolphin trip or sight seeing tour along the Coastline.

Mi Capricho also has a kids club from 9.30am-11.30am each day to give parents a rest or time out and for kids on holiday to enjoy the summer sun with other kids. Football tournaments, swimming and other fun are organized.

The Pool bar also have a happy hour as well as arrange introductions to Spanish food, such as a Paella Lunch . Other events for adults and children are introductions to flora and fauna, planting trees and flowers as well as introduction to andalucian flowers and shrubs.

Apart from Mi Capricho, there is plenty of fun and festivities that happens along the Costa del Sol with many Local fairs (ferias). The 4 most popular are in 2nd week of June St. Barnabe in Marbella 5 days of eating drinking and dancing, 
La Cala de Mijas the last week of July, Fun Fair, Music dancing sea food festival and carnival.
In August there is a 10 day celebration in Malaga with one of the biggest fairs in Europe. The fair is often opened by a celebrity such as Antonio Banderas or Julio Inglesias, and commences with an hour long fire work display not to be missed. During the day there is Dancing, music Horse processions, bands and in the evening drinking , dancing, massive fun fair and spectacular displays.
In October 5-12 there is a popular feria in Fuengirola on the Market ground. Again there is much festivity and fun for all the family. Its a great way to taste and see the Andalucian traditions at there best.
If you are looking for a bullfight, you will most likely be able to see these performances during the feria week.

Street Markets are popular with one in Calahonda on Mondays and two in the Village of La Cala de Mijas (5 minute bus ride) on wednesday and saturdays.

Also during the year there are Conserts held in the nearest Castle in Fuengirola, Paint Ball Competitions, Various Exhibitions and Events. When you book an apartment ask about the local fairs and events that are on and one of our team will be happy to inform you of this.

Getting There
There is no better place than spending the summer at Mi Capricho Apartments on Mi Capricho Beach in Calahonda. Everything is within walking distance or a short Taxi/car ride away.

Mi Capricho apartments can be reached by public transport. You can get the train from Malaga Airport and take the train to Fuengirola (end of the line). This train journey takes 45 minutes. At Fuengirola walk across the road to the bus station and get the 220 bus. It is about a 20 minute bus ride from Fuengirola to Mi Capricho. Walk over the bridge to the Apartment entrance. Within a 1.5 hour travelling time you can be at the property (no delays).

Alternatively we provide a Taxi service where one of our drivers can meet you at Arrivals with a board with your name on it and drive you directly to Mi Capricho, only taking 25minutes.

There are bus services to Marbella and Fuengirola on the 220 bus service that is around every 20 minutes-30 minutes
